"We came as part of our theme, "The Wind In The Willows." We wanted all children to experience a woodland habitat. JO and Amanda were very flexible and allowed the children to 'run wild' at first as many had never been into a forest before. They were then excellent at getting them to search for minibeasts and allowing them to camouflage themselves in the ferns was a highlight for many! One girl said the next day, "It was the best day of my life!"

I have recommended the trip to our Y5/6 teachers as they will being teaching further on habitats in the autumn term. Overall I was thoroughly pleased with the day and thought it was a very worthwhile experience for the children. They have talked about nothing else ever since ."

"Just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful visit to the centre by our Reception children on Monday. They are still buzzing about it and writing about it.  They even came into my class this morning and shared their experience with the Year 6s. The staff said what a wonderful day it was, well organised, busy but not too busy and at the right level for the children.

Thanks you for this and other visits we have made through the year, which have all been fantastic."

Mrs V Henson
Primrose Hill C of E Primary Academy

"Thanks for a great day on Wednesday! The kids love it and our head commented on how happy they were when we arrived back. She could tell they'd had a good day by all the mid on their clothes!"

"Just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the staff at the DHC. The children (and adults) had a fabulous day. They were all shattered and quite a few slept on the way home but were raving about the day when they got back to school. "
